Combining Education, Experience, and Passion
With a bachelor’s degree in counseling and over eight years of experience working with children, I have dedicated my career to offering an alternative, strength-based approach that empowers neurodiverse children to thrive in their daily lives through specialized, evidence-based counseling and skill development services. My passion is deeply rooted in both professional and personal experiences that have shown me the incredible potential within every child.
When I’m not pouring my heart into my work, you can often find me enjoying fitness, meal prepping, relaxing at local coffee shops, or treasure hunting while thrift shopping. Coffee holds a special place in my life—it’s truly the key to my heart.
I believe every individual deserves a safe and supportive space to grow, learn, and flourish—and that belief is what inspired the creation of Unseen Abilities.
At Unseen Abilities, our vision is to ensure that every neurodivergent child has the opportunity to thrive in daily life by receiving compassionate, individualized support that honors who they are rather than trying to change them. My own experiences navigating a complex healthcare system have shown me the profound impact that being truly heard, understood, and treated as a whole person can have. Those experiences have shaped the way I practice today, emphasizing collaboration, respect, and care that recognizes each child's unique strengths, needs, and lived experiences. We envision a future where children and families feel empowered, supported, and understood, and where every child is given the tools, confidence, and opportunities to succeed in ways that are meaningful to them.
At Unseen Abilities, our mission is to bridge the gap by providing individualized counseling, daily living skills therapy, and parent coaching for neurodivergent children and their families. We are dedicated to creating a supportive, affirming space that honors each child’s unique needs and empowers families to thrive in a world not built with them in mind. Guided by firsthand experiences navigating complex systems, we are committed to listening deeply, meeting families where they are, and providing care that is collaborative, compassionate, and rooted in respect for each person's lived experience. We believe meaningful progress happens when children and families feel seen, understood, and supported—not judged or expected to fit a one-size-fits-all approach.
